Veronica Sharkey

Veronica Sharkey MSW, LGSW

Sees Adults, Adolescents (16-18 Years), and Couples.

Veronica (she/her) graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a masters degree in Clinical Social Work.

Her approach to therapy is non-pathologizing, relational, and trauma-informed. She offers her clients unconditional positive regard, and firmly believes that even in the most difficult times, all people are doing the best they can with the tools they have. She has specialized training in The Adaptive Internal Relational (AIR) Network Model, a neuroscience-based trauma training to address the ways that past stress impacts our current experience of ourselves. She also utilizes CBT and solutions-focused approaches to support clients in setting their own goals and effectively working towards measurable relief.

Veronica also enjoys working with couples. She is a Rule 114 Qualified Neutral Mediator, and she prides herself on her ability to understand and empathize with multiple truths at one time.

Outside of work Veronica enjoys spending time outside and caring for her dog, Alba.
