Veronica Sharkey MSW, LGSW

Sees Adults, Adolescents (13-18 Years), and Couples.

Veronica (she/her) graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a masters degree in Clinical Social Work. She enjoys working with adults and adolescents 13 and older.

Veronica values the therapeutic relationship and strives to create a space where her clients can feel truly understood. She offers unconditional positive regard, and firmly believes that even in the most difficult times, all people are doing the best they can with the tools they have. Her approach to therapy is trauma-informed, non-pathologizing, and social justice-oriented. She utilizes narrative and solutions-focused approaches to support clients in setting their own goals and effectively working towards measurable relief.

Veronica also enjoys working with couples. She is a Rule 114 Qualified Neutral Mediator, and she prides herself on her ability to understand and empathize with multiple truths at one time.

Outside of work Veronica enjoys spending time outside and caring for her dog,
Alba.
