Our Mission

Vanda Counseling seeks to provide mental health support anchored in exceptional service, inclusion, and the belief that each person has the innate ability to heal themselves.

At Vanda Counseling, our philosophy is simple: Like the Vanda orchid, we believe that human beings have the innate quality to heal themselves. The services we provide at Vanda Counseling are meant to help you when problems or issues feel overwhelming and too big to manage alone. Our experienced clinicians and collaborative approach will guide you toward healing and into the life you are meant to be living.

We are here to help.

Testimonials

"My doctor referred me to Becky because of the positive outcomes she's had with other patients. It is not a short drive for me, but it's worth it. Becky's expertise in eating issues has far exceeded the expectations I had for counseling when I first started. She makes me feel safe talking about my relationship with food, but has also helped me realize that the most important way to work toward a healthy life is to heal the relationship with myself first."

Denise

Patient

"Becky: I wanted to let you know how effective your help has been to me... truly life changing. I had little hope when I came to you that I could ever maintain weight loss but you truly helped me rewire my brain through meditation coupled with the medication from my doctor. The freedom is incredible!! I continue to lose about a pound per week-- it's been a year and I am now enjoying daily workouts. I can easily run three miles, something I could never do previously. Learning to manage my stress scientifically has changed everything and I have every belief this is just my life now! Thank you!"
