Sees Adolescents (13-18 Years) and Adults and Couples
Before becoming a therapist, I spent a decade working in Washington, D.C. in high-pressure roles within public service and communications. I supported individuals navigating intense expectations, fast-paced environments, and moments where a lot was on the line.
Through that work, I saw how easy it is to keep going on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected on the inside. I also saw how little space there often is to slow down, reflect, or be fully human in those environments.
That perspective is what led me to this work.
Today, I offer a space where you don’t have to hold it all together. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I care about getting to know you as a whole person—not just what’s going wrong, but what’s been weighing on you, what’s been missing, and what you’re hoping for.
I draw from evidence-based approaches, but I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. We’ll move at your pace and focus on what actually feels helpful and meaningful to you.
I often work with people who are:
- Feeling anxious, burned out, or overwhelmed, even if they’re “functioning” on the outside
- Struggling with perfectionism, self-doubt, or a harsh inner critic
- Feeling disconnected, numb, or unsure of what comes next
- Carrying a lot of responsibility while having very little space to process it
- Wanting a place where they can be honest without needing to filter or explain themselves
Whether you’re going through a difficult period or simply feeling stuck, therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and reconnect with yourself.
