Trauma Skills Group

When: Beginning Wednesday, March 14 from 2:00 – 3:30 pm. This is a 10 week group.

About: The group is psychoeducational and focused on skills. We talk a lot about containment, skills to use, and allow for time to practice the skills in a safe environment. Participants should continue in their own individual therapy while doing group, even if it is less often. Our group meets once a week. We will apply skills from DBT, sensorimotor, EMDR, and education on what emotions are, why we are afraid of them, and how to process them.

Topics: Mindfulness, Trauma, Window of Tolerance, Self-Soothing Skills, Emotions, Imagery, Breathing and Centering Skills, Non-Judgement, Boundaries

Location: Vanda Counseling & Psychological Services | 14115 James Rd #305 and #301 | Rogers, MN 55474

Contact: Please contact Shelly Edwards directly for more information at 763.575.8086  or shelly@vandacounseling.com

In most cases, insurance is accepted. The group is psychoeducational.
